Welcome Drinks
A welcome drinks reception will be held following the final session on Monday 29th June at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC). The reception will be in the Cromdale Hall, level -2.
The reception is included in the price of your conference registration and will include street food eateries, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink options.
Dress code for this event is casual. The cost of this event is included in your conference fee.
Gala Dinner
On the evening of Thursday 2nd July, we welcome you to the stunning National Museum of Scotland for our Gala Dinner.
Providing truly a unique venue, the National Museum of Scotland is the UKs most popular museum outside of London, and at night transforms into the most spectacular setting.
The menu will include locally sourced food.
The price for this event is £89. Tickets must be purchased in advance via the booking system when you register.
Over 18’s only. You can book up to two tickets for this event.
Kilt and Sash Hire
Kilt and Sash Hire will be available for the Gala Dinner should you wish to wear traditional highland attire during your time in Edinburgh.
You can go with a ‘Full Prince Charlie Outfit’ or hire a simple kilt. Plus, ladies can hire a tartan sash and brooch. An overview of what you can hire is below. Details of how to order will be issued after registration and closer to the conference.

Guided walking tour of Royal Mile and entry to Edinburgh Castle
On this guided walking tour, explore the bustling cobbled streets, hidden closes, and historic landmarks that link Holyrood Palace with Edinburgh Castle.
On arrival at the castle, you will be able to discover its crucial role in the history of Edinburgh, there having been a fort here for almost 3000 years.
Guests will also see the Honours of Scotland (the Scottish Crown Jewels), the Royal Apartments, and the magnificent Great Hall.

Guided walking tour of Stockbridge and Dean Village
Enjoy a walk of contrasts which uncovers the historical difference between the two. Stroll beside the peaceful Water of Leith, a tranquil green corridor winding through the heart of Edinburgh, offering a quiet escape from the city’s bustle. After enjoying Dean Village which is well preserved and peacefully quiet with no through traffic – and no shops! Once a thriving milling community, Dean Village’s centuries-old stone buildings and riverside setting tell the story of its industrious past.
You will then walk along the river taking in the Dean Bridge and St Bernard’s Well, whose water is said to be healing, and into bohemian Stockbridge. Here, the contrast is clear — once a separate village with its own market and community, today Stockbridge blends historic charm with a vibrant, creative energy, filled with cafés, galleries, and independent shops.

Afternoon Tea (for partners of conference delegates only)
An unforgettable Afternoon Tea in the elegant surroundings of the Willow Tea Rooms, on Edinburgh’s Princes Street, perfectly located in the heart of the city with stunning views of Edinburgh Castle.
The tearooms are inspired by the works of Charles Rennie Mackintosh, the famous Art Nouveau artist and architect, you can enjoy delicious, traditional foods in a unique setting.
Enjoy a selection of delicate sandwiches, freshly baked scones with clotted cream and jam, and an array of exquisite miniature desserts, all served with your choice of loose-leaf tea or coffee.
This activity will give you the opportunity to meet with other partners and to enable you to see some of the beautiful city ahead of the other tours.
